Our friends at Make-a-Wish in Connecticut celebrated their 35th anniversary in July and we were honored to partner with them to celebrate this milestone and to raise money to grant a special wish. Through the first three weeks of July, Splash customers helped support this great cause that grants life changing wishes to children with critical illnesses by purchasing stars at our Connecticut locations. On Saturday the 17th, Splash added to this total by donating a percentage of every car washed at its sites that day to Make-a-Wish.
The day was made complete by a visit from Luke, a Wish-candidate from Wilton. Luke hopes to visit the Tesla or Space-X facilities for his wish, but got another wish fulfilled when he rode through the carwash in the Make-a-Wish car. Splash was able to raise over $11,000 for Make-a-Wish which will enable Luke to have his dream come true.
